The End

A fire had recently come about in the Bannerman's mill. Alf Walker, trying to help out, was stuck in the higher stories, could not find the oxygen to survive the smoke intoxication. Alf Walker died that night. This will be my last post as The Island Stalker. I hope this blog has kept you informed, as that was its intention. But now, after all I've blogged about, it didn't change anything. All that has happened, happened despite my efforts to inform. I say good bye to you, fellow island stalkers, and send a message to all of you - keep talking, keep blogging, keep living.

Wanted, Dead Or Alive

After the Bannerman's mill shut down due to the Union, people started to get angry. So angry, that most recently, a rock was thrown into the Walker household, containing a note - "Hope your happy now Walker this is your doing fuck you die." Unfortunately their message hit Jamie Walker the hardest, rendering him unconscious and the latest news is the youngest Walker is in a coma, and no one knows what the result will be. Talk about getting the message across.

Better Together

Joe and Anna, officially together at last? It's true folks, the long time secret crushes have finally made it official. The meetings of the families have been made, and love is definitely in the air for these two. They sealed the deal, only to find out Anna was returning back to France. She would be leaving Joel and going back to Enrico, the person Anna had been in love with when she lived there. Joe definitely had some competition. Or so he thought, until finding out that he leaned the other way. Now we hear of Guillaume. The man she had had an affair with. A painter, who at the beginning she didn't suspect to be the reason for an eating disorder and struggling in what should have been easy school work. We finally find out about the mysterious Anna Macrimmon, right in time for her to leave. Claimed to not be a small town person, good bye love.

Cheating Hearts

I not-so-recently blogged to you all about Alf Walker with an interesting woman; a woman, who is not his wife, giving him a kiss to think about. Seems that kiss wasn't so innocent, as I had suspected before. Sources tell me that that kiss turned into casual meetings, which turned into a full on affair. Let's see how this plays out with the infamous wife. The Mother Walker. And, interestingly enough, this is not the only affair I have recently become aware of. Don McVey, father of Liz and Sally, has also been caught in between the sheets. What is happening with this town? Falling apart, not so slowly but surely.

Along For The Ride

Joe with new girlfriend... Liz McVey?! That's right everyone, this high class, wealthy girl is after Attawan's own Joe Walker. Apparently, they've been having quite the romantic connection, and keep eachother very satisfied. Or do they? A rumour has recently come afloat that one Joe Walker dished to long time crush Anna Macrimmon that Joe is only in it for the satisfaction in the bedroom. Could it be true? Liz is getting used by commonly known Joe? However Anna's recent vacation tells more than Joe's words. A letter from the SS Independant suggests Anna might be missing Joe too? What about Anna's boyfriend Brad? What about Liz? Stay tuned.

Candy Man

Jamie and Billy - Inside Scoop

TIS: So I understand that you've been having some scary dreams lately. Do you think you can tell me what they're about?
Jamie: The Candy Man.
TIS: And who's the Candy Man?
Billy: We're not really supposed to talk about it.
*Nudges Jamie*
TIS: Well, boys, sometimes when someone tells you not to talk about something, they're just scared to get into trouble. Come on, you know that anything you say to me will be just between us.
Billy: Well, I don't know...
Jamie: All we should say is that the Candy Man is a guy who does weird stuff to your privates and then gives you candy.
TIS: Well, boys, I can let you know now, your secret's safe with me.

Trickery

After 14 people were fired from Bannerman's mill, including then Pete Moon, he went into a slump. Rumoured to be in deeper than anyone's ever seen, Pete spent days on the couch of his small home, without so much as a word to his wife of years. Pete Moon decided he couldn't take it anymore, and took his own life. Our prayers are with his family. It only leaves us to wonder, could this have been to do with Alf? Could he have done something to avoid this?

Up In The Air

With the Union still up everyone's back at Bannerman's mill, people were starting to join the movement. Bob Prince, the boss-man at the mill, has recently recruited Alf Walker as the eyes and ears to figure out what the Union is really trying to do. Reportedly attending a meeting of minds at old friend - Pete's - house. Hmm, friend or foe? Well, Prince considers him a friend, gathering information about the Union members. Woody Marr, a familiar face in the mill work, was the only name that Prince got out of Alf. How many more names is Alf willing to give up for the good of his job and the disregard for others? Keep reading the island stalker blog to find out!

Couldn't Have Happened

After Jamie Walker's encounter with Billy Boileau, they surprisingly had a love of Indian history in common, and became friends. Who'd have known? Although, not sure his parents would approve of this friendship he kept it a secret! Well, little Jamie, the secret's out! My sources tell me the family of Jamie Walker, in complete distraught, went out looking for a recently disappeared Jamie. The big surprise was where they found him, or rather who they found him with. Reportedly getting lost looking for the Boileau family's dog, they hid out, afraid of what they'd find in the Atta. Finally found by the Walker family, they returned Billy safely home, but not leaving without a seemingly innocent kiss from Billy's mother Lucille. But, interestingly enough, I have never known myself to kiss my friends, for thanks. But this was described to me more than a kiss. Apparently she really missed the company of her son?

She's The New Girl In Town

Joe Walker introduced to New Girl from the river! Anna Macrimmon, the worldly, French speaking, poetry reading new commer to Attawan has made quite an impression on young Mr. Walker. Recently been caught staring in class, and making any excuse to speak to her. Come on, Joe! We know you're too good to be the follower-puppy type! Hopefully he'll get into the groove with such a classy girl like Anna. Best of luck, Joe!

Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore

Jamie Walker fights Tommy Leach from the flats!
Low Down: Tommy makes fun of Jamie's pants;
When Tommy goes to grab his pants, Jamie retaliates;
Jamie slaps Tommy's hands away, then grabs his nose;
JAMIE WINS THE FIGHT & becomes the most popular boy in the schoolyard!
Tommy was rumoured to have a broken nose.

Bad news is that Billy - an Indian boy whose mother is gossipped to be a hooker - thinks that he's the toughest boy in the school. Will Jamie fight Billy? Will Billy remain the toughest boy in school or will Jamie be awarded the title? Keep reading about what happens next!

A New Name For Everything

Popular hangout spot for the middle class Attawanian's down by the river side. Joe Walker and his fellow classmates treading water and bridge jumping on the regular Sunday afternoon hangouts.

Spotted : New girl with the McVey sisters! Tallish girl with blonde bob, had a weird way of keeping power over everyone at the river. They actually felt... Bad? Definitely need to get to the bottom of this! Who is she? Why was she with the McVeys? Why did she have such a power over the savage-acting boys at the river! I'll do some digging and get back with all the deets!

Someone's Watching, Always Watching

Have you ever felt like someone's watching you? Alf Walker was spotted talking to a short, thick man rumoured to be from the UKW. But what would the Union have to do with Alf? This, my fellow bloggers, will be one for the books. Back in 1949, the knitting mill in Attawan had a hugely dramatic strike that affected the whole town! And now they're back? Alf, who was an avid striker back in '49, could be a huge asset to the UKW - trying to take back the rights of the mill. More details to come!
